How to carry out a leak test.

Making Good around the Inlets and Outlets.

The old cement rendering around all the shell perforations (return jets, skimmer and lights)
 was hacked out.

Making good was done with fine, strong cement mortar
and levelled with a sponge to the existing.

The area around the plastic was recessed by 5 mm and, once again,
re-pointed with neat cement to ensure a water-tight joint.

Patching the Waterproof Membrane.

Three coats of neat cement slurry was then applied to all areas.
